NewBorn Session is Done Monday -Friday morning to noon.
No weekend dates are available for that type of session.
~Retainer of $50 is required to book a spot

yes In order to book with me you now need to put $50 retainer.
That will go towards your package price. This will hold a spot for you.
When and where does the newborn session take place?
Newborn are best photographed between 5-14 days.
All newborn sessions take place in NE Philadelphia Home Studio. zipcode (19114)Our studio is fully stocked with props, backdrops, outfits and accessories. I currently do not travel to clients homes.

What is a newborn session like and how do I prepare?
Because your baby has been in the womb at 98.6 degrees for the last nine months, the studio is kept warm. So please dress appropriately! White noise is played to assure baby is sleeping sweetly through the poses and there will be quiet music playing in the background. Sessions are baby led and usually last anywhere from 1-4 hours, depending on the type of session chosen as well how the baby feels that days. You will receive a session prep guide, so please do your best to follow the schedule that morning. Please be prepared to feed on demand if breastfeeding, or bring many extra bottles if bottle feeding. I also recommend bringing a pacifier, even if baby is not taking one. We use this soothing tool when baby is not hungry, but needs pacification while posing. Please also bring a soft blanket to wrap baby in between poses.
As I mentioned, parent/sibling photos can be taken (Gold and Baby Royal) are typically try to do that beginning of the session . With this in mind, we usually recommend that dad or another person take the older siblings out during the just baby portion of the session. ( I do have a waiting room where sibling can sit. Children, especially younger ones, can become restless in a warm, small studio. Or take Separate cars.For parents, you are welcome to sit close and watch us work with your little. Or you may choose just to sit back and relax! For some parents, this time will be your first moments alone since baby was born! So feel free to bring a book or put your head back and take a nap.
When you book your session, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out. And this will give us direction as far as the color scheme that you would like to use. Also replicate some of the photos from my website/instagram), Before the session you can choose props/set that you like to replicate for your baby. During the session you can take a look at the accceries hat, headband, teddies , different small animal prop that we have in the studio and add that any set.
When will I see the photos from the session?
You will see you Proof (not retouched photos) 48 hours after the session. You will choose you favorite photos. After you submit your favorite photos, turn around time is 2 weeks.
What are sets?
Set is a bucket or a props with texture fabric that I put the baby 0n/in . And in that set I photograph different angel and gently reposition the baby to get the variety…. we also change, hats , headband and wrap.
Then we move to another set or prop and do the same thing over again, I usually can get 4-5 great photos out of the set. Parents get to choose what photos they get to keep.

How will I receive the photos?
After I am done with editing, I will email you a link where you can download your photos to your phone or your computer. The photos will be high resolution files. You are welcome to print the photos your self. Printing instruction will be attached to that email as well.

Parking: You can park on the street or by my driveway more blocking it, any trouble finding a parking near my house please give me a call.I will help you with that (note it is a one-way street follow your GPS)
